According to The Calgary Sun, Bret Hart is suing his surgeon Dr. Justin Yeung for 1 million dollars due to Yeung and his staff not providing proper medical care to Hart after a wrist surgery. As consequence, Hart was unable to move his right thumb and index finger.
Yeung performed a surgery on his wrist on back on November 23rd, 2015, after Hart had worked from the early 1980s until the surgery with the injury. Three weeks after the surgery, Hart experienced swelling and pain in the region and returned to Yeung. He was unable to move his right index finger and thumb, to which the doctor told him to wait and see how he healed, but Hart continued experiencing problems with his wrist throughout 2016.
Hart claims in the lawsuit that he unable to dress properly without assistance and that he is unable to use his right hand to pick up everyday objects.
