Shortly after winning the Intercontinental Championship, Roman Reigns stated that he would be issuing an Intercontinental Championship Open Challenge, seemingly along the lines of what John Cena did with the United States Championship. Finn Balor, Jason Jordan, and even 205 Live's Cedric Alexander have all expressed interest in competing for Roman's Intercontinental Title:
