In an update on why Impact Wrestling lost most of their referees over the past week, it's being reported that the referees actually weren't fired from the company, but rather they chose to quit because they were apparently offered very low salaries from Anthem.
Impact Hall of Famer Earl Hebner and his son Brian Hebner asked for their releases and then the other referees followed suit.
As for tonight's Bound for Glory pay-per-view, it's expected that all of the referees will be local Canadian referees. It's rumored that Impact officials tried to contact former WWE referee Jack Doan but it's unclear right now whether he has worked out a deal with them.
