PWInsider is reporting that Dean Broadhead, who was their Chief Financial Officer for many years, was quietly let go at the end of September.
His departure might be related to the news regarding Anthem’s move to Toronto, Canada. Ed Nordholm emailed the staff in Nashville to let them know that they would be “consolidating” the office with the Anthem office in Toronto. This confirms the speculation about the company moving it's way on over to Canada. It’s not clear what this means for the staff in Nashville yet, but there is belief that the production for the Impact Wrestling show would stay in Nashville.
Anthem is cost-cutting and they be using more local talent to cut down paying travel costs, and now also because of tax breaks that they would get when they use a certain number of Canadian workers on their shows.
