Two WWE Legends Being Considered to Referee Lesnar vs. Mahal?

As was previously reported, WWE officials are discussing the possibility of adding a Special Guest Referee to the upcoming Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal match at Survivor Series. It was previously noted that John Cena was the leading candidate to get the spot, but WWE officials are reportedly interested in two WWE legends from the Attitude Era.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon would like to see either "Stone Cold" Steve Austin or Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson be the Special Guest Referee for this match.

Ultimately it will come down to both money and scheduling. If a deal can't be worked out with either Austin or The Rock then Cena would likely end up being the referee if they do decide to add a Special Guest Referee.
