Video: Re-cap from last night's Raw

Welcome to WWE  Smackdown Live and we kick things off with Smackdown Comissioner Shane McMahon making his way out to the ring.

Shane says last two weeks he's been undergoing some serious physical rehab but is happy to be back in the ring and back in charge. Shane says Survivor Series is fast approaching and is the only time where Smackdown and Raw compete head to head and he learned at an early age it's always best to strike first which is why the Smackdown roster paid a visit to Monday Night Raw

When Kurt Angle called and said they needed an attraction for the Demon Finn Balor, Shane gave them AJ Styles for not one but two nights because they knew what they were going to do and then Angle had the audacity to insult the Smackdown roster. Shane says they caught Raw completely by surprise but they won't be caught by surprise because they're ready. Sami Zayn then makes his way out

Sami says hello to Shane and hopes there's no hard feelings about Hell In A Cell and extends a handshake. Shane says there is hard feelings and when he pulled Owens out of the way that put Shane's health in jeopardy

Sami says if Shane was standing out here as a competitor he'd take him out in a second and leave him hurting worse than at Hell In A Cell but that's for another day. The reason he's out here is to let Shane know that his good buddy Kevin Owens they've mulled it over and decided to be part of Team Smackdown and do what they do every night carry the burden on their shoulder and the rest of the roster can follow. Shane wants them to represent Smackdown and even takes it up a notch saying he needs Zayn and Owens

Shane is a lot of things except a stupid man. But the bottom line is Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens have volunteered their services for Survivor Series. Shane says he doesn't want or need them to represent Smackdown. But since this is the land of opportunity. IF Sami Zayn wants to be on the Survivor Series team all he has to do is beat his opponent and whoever wins will represent Smackdown at Survivor Series. Zayn asks to know who his opponent is and Shane says tonight Sami Zayn goes one on one with The Viper Randy Orton

THE NEW DAY VS SHELTON BENJAMIN AND CHAD GABLE

New Day in control early on. Kofi and Shelton in the ring. Irish whip into the corner and Shelton with a monkey flip out of the corner. Kofi with a monkeyflip of his own. Shelton with a kick. Woods with a kick to the face. Kofi back in and Shelton clotheslines Kofi over the top rope to the floor and we switch to split screen as Raw goes to break

-Commercial-

Gable rolls Kofi back in putting the boots to him. Gable working over the arm. Kofi back to his feet trying for a comeback and Gable prevents a tag. Shelton in with a nearfall. Suplex by Benjamin. Chinlock on Kofi and Kofi gets to his feet driving elbows in to Shelton. Shelton with a clothesline to Kingston. Smackdown is back and we switch back to full screen. Tag to Gable and Gable puts the boots to Kofi. Suplex by Gable and a nearfall on Kofi. Shelton looking for a double underhook suplex but Kofi tries to fight it. Shelton manages to hit the suplex second time around. Woods and Gable in now and Woods in control with a nearfall

Double suplex by Shelton and Gable. Xavier with an elbow and a nearfall on Benjamin. Shelton plants Woods with a spinebuster. Gable gets the tag. Dropkick by Kingston to Shelton. Gable with a clothesline to Kofi and Gable with a kick to the back of the head and the cover for the three count

The winners of the match: Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable

Fashion Dogs

Breezango are talking and they have James Ellsworth tied up. The Ascension walk in. Tyler Breeze rips the tape off of Ellsworth mouth asking where the briefcase is.

Carmella walks in with her MITB briefcase and Fandango grabs the briefcase and opens it but no luck. The briefcase they're looking for is still MIA. The Ascension still claim The Bludgeon Brothers are responsible for the missing briefcase

BARON CORBIN VS SIN CARA

Corbin overpowers Sin Cara into the corner. Clotheslines and knee strikes and Sin Cara gets thrown halfway across the ring. Elbow to the back of the neck by Corbin. Corbin picks Sin Cara up and again powers him into the corner. Corbin gets caught with an elbow and boots to the face. Sin Cara springboard back elbow and Corbin to the outside.

Suicide dives into the barricades and Sin Cara throws Corbin back in. Sin Cara with a missile dropkick and Corbin rolls to the outside to re-group. Corbin slides back in and drives Sin Cara into the corner stomping away at him. Corbin wails away on Sin Cara as the referee calls for the bell.

The winner of the match by disqualification: Sin Cara

Jinder Mahal and The Singh Brothers come out to the ring. Jinder says there are those who tell the truth and those who lie and Paul Heyman is a liar. Mahal then throws to the big screen where we see video from last night's Raw of Paul Heyman accepting Jinder Mahal's challenge to Brock Lesnar for a match at Survivor Series

Jinder says unlike Paul Heyman, he will tell the truth. Everything he has in WWE he earned. He started at the bottom and is now the most dominant champion in WWE. He outsmarted Randy Orton and outwrestled Shinsuke Nakamura and yet still doesn't receive the same respect he does in India.

Heyman was right he is not Lesnar's equal or counterpart. He is Brock Lesnar's nightmare and at Survivor Series he will prove to everyone why the Maharajah Era has just begun. As for tonight, Sunil Singh will face AJ Styles

Styles then makes his way out to the ring

AJ STYLES VS SUNIL SINGH

Headbutt to Sunil and Sameer on the apron for the distraction. Styles with a kick to Sunil as he takes a shot at Sameer who jumps down off the apron. Styles then rolls through and locks in the Calf Crusher for the submission

The winner of the match: AJ Styles

Backstage: Sami Zayn is preparing and Kevin Owens walks in and says he spoke to Daniel Bryan and next week he has a qualifying match against Shinsuke Nakamura. Sami says perfect so he wins tonight, Owens wins next week then the Survivor Series team will become the Kevin and Sami team. Owens says you mean the Kevin and Sami Team

Backstage: A livid Jinder Mahal storms into Daniel Bryan's office and says he wants revenge against AJ Styles and Sunil couldn't do it so next week Sameer will defend Jinder's honour

CHARLOTTE VS BECKY LYNCH VS NAOMI VS CARMELLA VS TAMINA

Carmella stomping away Charlotte. Tamina with a Samoan Drop to Carmella and we go to break as Smackdown switches to split sceen

-Commercial-

Becky and Charlotte trade chops as Carmella executes a crossbody off the top rope. Kick to Charlotte's head and a Bronco Buster in the corner on Becky Lynch. Naomi back in with a nearfall. Naomi bouncing Carmella's head off the turnbuckle. Snapmare out of the corner and a clothesline to Carmella. Naomi picks Carmella up throwing her into Becky who falls off the apron crashing to the floor. Naomi kicks Carmella's leg out, slam by Naomi countered by Carmella who gets a nearfall.

Series of kicks by Naomi who is tripped up by Tamina and pulled out of the ring. We're back to full screen and Carmella is on Tamina's back but Tamina backs her into the ring apron. Charlotte goes after Tamina and a kick to Carmella.

Fallaway slam to Tamina by Charlotte. Becky off the apron plants Charlotte. Crossbody by Naomi. Naomi looking for a hurricanrana but Charlotte swings her into the barricade. Interference by Lana who gets shoved into the barricade by Charlotte. Kick by Tamina who sends Charlotte over the barricades. Now it's Becky and Tamina. Dropkick by Naomi to Tamina

Roll up by Becky, reversal by Naomi and it's broken up by Carmella. Kick to Becky by Carmella and nearfalls. Carmella picks Becky up but Becky powers her to the mat and locks in the Dis-arm her for the submission

Backstage: Dolph Ziggler calls Bobby Roode a fraud who couldn't hang with him and he told everyone but no one would listen. Last week he beat Bobby Roode. Roode walks in and says theyre not friends. Roode agrees and says Ziggler likes to run his mouth but he loves to fight and since they both have one match a piece he suggests a third match. Roode says next week Dolph Ziggler vs Bobby Roode - 2 out of 3 falls. Ziggler says he's in but hopes Roode's ego can handle it when he's embarassed twice in one night. Roode tells Renee he has a feeling next week on Smackdown Live will be Glorious

RANDY ORTON VS SAMI ZAYN

They lock up and they go into the corner. Zayn with a clean break. Orton with a side head lock. Zayn escapes and he backs Orton into the corner and then he taps on Orton's chest and then he dances. Zayn with a waist lock and Orton with a wrist lock. Zayn with a chop on the break and Orton does not look happy with what Zayn did. Zayn with two more chops and Orton with a European uppercut and punches. Orton with the Garvin Stomp to Zayn.

Orton with another European uppercut that staggers Zayn. Zayn goes to the floor but Orton follows and he kicks Zayn before sending him back into the ring. Zayn with a baseball slide to Orton. Zayn punches Orton but Orton with a kick and he Irish whips Zayn to the ringside barrier but Zayn leaps onto the barrier and he hits a moonsault.

-Commercial-

We are back and Zayn with a rear chin lock. Orton with punches but Zayn with a leg lariat. Zayn sets for a suplex but Orton blocks it. Orton drops Zayn on the top rope and Zayn bounces back into the ring. Orton with two clotheslines and he ducks a clothesline from Zayn and Orton with a power slam as Zayn comes off the ropes. Zayn goes to the apron and Orton sets for the IEDDT but Zayn pulls Orton to the floor. Orton with a kick. Zayn is sent towards the announce table and Zayn leaps onto the table. Orton with a backdrop driver onto the table. They return to the ring and Orton gets a near fall.

Zayn sets for an exploder into the turnbuckles but Orton with an exploder of his own for a near fall. Zayn with a cross body for a near fall. Orton goes for an RKO but Zayn counters and gets a near fall with a back slide. Zayn with a boot to the head and then Zayn goes up top. Orton recovers and he punches Zayn. Orton climbs the turnbuckles for a superplex and he hits it. Orton gets a near fall. Zayn sends Orton into the ring post and then Sami sets for the tornado DDT through the ring post and he hits it.

Orton gets back into the ring to stop the count. Zayn goes for a Helluva Kick but Orton moves. Orton with the IEDDT and then he sets for the RKO and he twists to the mat.

Kevin Owens comes to the ring and Orton kicks Owens. Zayn with a rollup for a near fall. Owens yells at the ref. Orton with a low blow to Zayn when the referee's back is turned. Owens tells the referee what happened. Orton with an RKO for the three count.

The winner of the match: Randy Orton

Post Match: Shane and Daniel talk about Randy Orton being on the team. Daniel says that Kurt did not attack tonight. Daniel tells Shane that he better be ready because Kurt will respond.
