More Backstage Details On Jimmy Jacobs Being Fired

As previously reported, WWE producer Jimmy Jacobs was let go from WWE and the believed reason for he departure is due to a photo he took with The Bullet Club prior to their "invasion" of Monday Night Raw a few weeks ago which led to WWE sending a cease and desist to The Young Bucks for their use of the "too sweet" hand gesture.

Dave Meltzer revealed on Wrestling Observer Radio that Jacobs was actually let go from his contract about a week ago and the news only just filtered through in the last few days. Meltzer also revealed his sources within WWE are noting that there is "more" to the story and it wasn't just the photo that infatuated Vince McMahon but other issues which are not yet fully known.

On the subject of the photo with BC, Jacobs was ultimately believed to be 'ignoring his job' by going to take the picture with the Bullet Club whilst he was supposed to be working. He also helped give them more publicity by doing so, the real irony now is the whole drama has actually provided BC/The Young Bucks much more publicity and merchandise sales. PWInsider also reports that Jacobs had some time off in the summer to deal with personal issues and this reportedly has lingered over him for a while.
