The Reason Kalisto Got A Cruiserweight Title Shot On Monday's WWE Raw

The original plan for last night's WWE Raw was for Neville to challenge Enzo Amore for the Cruiserweight Championship, not Kalisto, according to PWInsider.com. The reason Kalisto was given a fresh shot was that he was the only Cruiserweight who could get a title shot due to Enzo’s "no contact" clause with the rest of the cruiserweight division.

WWE also felt given that it was the late Eddie Guerrero’s birthday it allowed the writers to script a promo that linked Kalisto's win into Guerrero’s legacy due to Eddie being a big inspiration for his career.
