Jim Cornette Explains What Happened With Santino Marella In Detroit

Jim Cornette at Something To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard live show explained what happened with Santino Marella at the COBO Center wrestling convention in Detroit. For those that missed it, Jim Cornette and Santino Marella started yelling at each other in a Detroit convention hall.

Their beef goes back to when Cornette worked for WWE’s then developmental territory OVW. Marella was said to have been caught laughing at Boogeyman segment off camera, which in Cornette's eyes was a breach of kayfabe and lead this Cornette slapping Santino. WWE subsequently fired Cornette over the incident.

Their meeting at the wrestling convention held by XICW on Saturday, Oct, 7 was said to have started off cordial, but things got out of control and lead to the yelling incident.
