WWE issued the following press release:
WWE brings its larger-than-life family entertainment to MCM London Comic Con for the first time ever this October, along with a range of unique WWE experiences for visitors of all ages, as well as a special meet-and-greet with WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne.
Members of the WWE Universe attending the three-day pop culture extravaganza – held 27-29 October in ExCeL London – will have an opportunity to meet Dunne at the WWE stand on Friday, 27 October, at 11 a.m. local time. Though he fell just short in the finals of WWE’s United Kingdom Championship Tournament last January, The Bruiserweight captured the coveted title from Tyler Bate in an unbelievable match at NXT TakeOver: Chicago in May and has held the championship ever since.
Another highlight for fans will undoubtedly be The Undertaker’s Graveyard. This exclusive interactive experience will give The Phenom’s faithful a chance to reenact part of his infamous entrance – rising from his casket.
MCM London Comic Con visitors can also check out memorabilia from some of the most iconic names in the history of sports-entertainment, including The Rock, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, The Undertaker and Sting. Plus, they’ll be able to purchase official WWE merchandise, including T-shirts of their favourite WWE Superstars, at the official WWE EuroShop area, and play the latest installment of the critically-acclaimed WWE video game franchise in the WWE 2K18 gaming area.
At the WWE Network Screening area, fans will find exclusive offers for WWE Network, the only place to get all WWE pay-per-view events, including WrestleMania and SummerSlam, at no additional cost. WWE Network’s 24/7 programming includes groundbreaking original series, reality shows, documentaries, classic matches, exclusive coverage of special events and the most comprehensive video-on-demand library with over 7,500 hours of content, including every WWE, WCW and ECW pay-per-view.
Since its inception as a one-day, one-location event in 2001, MCM (Movies, Comics, Media) London Comic Con has established itself as Britain’s leading pop-culture festival, with twice-yearly, three-day events in multiple locations throughout the United Kingdom. Last May, MCM London Comic Con welcomed 130,212 sci-fi fans, gamers, comic-book collectors, movie buffs and anime enthusiasts for a successful weekend of sun and superhero battles. This October’s edition is set to be bigger and better, so get into your favourite WWE Superstar gear, turn up the volume on your entrance music and join WWE at ExCeL London on 27-29 October for an unforgettable MCM London Comic Con!
