WWE NXT Results (9/27/17)

This week's NXT started off with a word from NXT General Manager William Regal. Regal announced that at NXT Takeover Houston, the NXT Women's championship will be up for grabs in a Fatal 4 Way match. As announced after the Mae Young Classic, Kairi Sane is in the matchup. The other three contestants will be announced in the coming weeks.

-The first in ring appearance we see is from Sanity, who came out of the crowd separately from the 4 different corners of the Full Sail Arena. The 4 meet in the ring and Eric Young sends a message to Adam Cole, who he will be facing in the main event tonight.

-Lars Sullivan defeated Oney Lorcan in a physical match. Lars looked and worked like a behemoth and Only dished a lot of offense in on Sullivan. Lars hit a nasty clothesline and his side slam for the win. *note* post match beatdown was avoided when Danny Burch came out to save Lorcan from Lars. Looks like these two have formed an alliance after their excellent match recently

-Heavy Machinery (Tucker Knight & Otis Dozovic) defeated Patrick Scott & Demetrius Bronson in a squash match. Bronson is a former NFL running back and Scott was trained by former ECW Champion Steve Corino. Both guys appear to have a future with NXT as they are performance center talents. Dozovic and Knight dominated this bout with their power game.

-Another interview for Regal outside of the Performance Center as he grants Johnny Gargano his rematch with Andrade Cien Almas in two weeks. Regal also hints at something special for Takeover Houston

-Liv Morgan defeated Vanessa Bourne to help her case as a participant in the NXT Women's Championship match at NXT Takeover Houston. Morgan got a decent reaction and looked pretty solid in ring. 

-Aleister Black is approached about his thoughts on Velveteen Dream's promo last week during Black's mic time in ring. Aleister pretty much blows Dream off saying Velveteen uses being bizarre to garnish attention.

-Kassius Ohno defeats Fabian Aichner in an impressive showing for both guys. Aichner especially shined here with his strength and athleticism. Fabian caught a 265 pound Ohno in mid air and also did some insane springboard spots. Aichner was a member of the CWC last year at 205 on the dot. Percy Watson said this week that he's pushing 250 now. Ohno got the win with his spinning big boot.

-Adam Cole (BAY BAY) defeated Eric Young when Cole hit the shining wizard on a distract EY. Solid back and forth between the two leaders of their respective groups. Cole got a big reaction every time his name was said or his hands went up. Fish & O'Reilly were antagonizing Sanity on the outside during the match causing EY to dive out to drop them and it cost him the match.
