At Sunday night's Raw-exclusive WWE No Mercy event, Enzo Amore defeated Neville to become the brand new Cruiserweight Champion after distracting the referee and hitting Neville with a low blow. Enzo caused the referee to become distracted after he brought the championship into the ring and threatened to hit Neville with it, but then gave the title back to the referee. As the referee took the title out of the ring, Enzo hit Neville with the low blow, then pinned him for the win.

Enzo's victory marks his first reign as champion, as well as his first major championship in WWE.
