Alex Riley Tweets on Roman Reigns Mentioning Him During Promo On Raw

During last night's episode of WWE Raw, Roman Reigns mentioned former WWE Superstar Alex Riley in his promo and pointed the finger at John Cena for derailing his career. For those that don't know an incident took place a few years ago between Riley and Cena which ultimately led to the end of Riley's push. It is believed the two were very close friends but something happened which ended their friendship.

In an interview with The Ross Report in January 2017, Riley said, "I'll put it this way. There was an incident and it certainly changed the path of my career. I don't want to discuss it right now, but I will one day for sure. I will one day. It was a tough situation at times, I guess we can leave it at that."

Riley took to Twitter last night to respond to the promo:

Riley was released from his WWE contract along with several other wrestlers on May 6, 2016.
