Former WCW wrestler Lodi announced his retirement from wrestling at last night’s Palmetto Championship Wrestling event in Columbia South Carolina. Lodi revealed that he will be going into public speaking when he hangs up his boots which ultimately came as a result of him having to recently undergo his third neck surgery.
Lodi appeared for World Championship Wrestling between 1997 and 2000, where he was a member of Raven's Flock stable and the tag team The West Hollywood Blondes. In recent years he has been a regular on the Carolina’s indie scene.
Following Lodi's announcement, one of his former trainees, Brady Pierce challenged him. Jacob Ryan made the save and beat Pierce in an impromptu match.
