Former WWE Superstar Kharma Backstage At Tonight's Mae Young Classic

Kia Stevens, better known as working in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling under the ring name Awesome Kong, Amazing Kong in Japan and also in WWE as Kharma is backstage at tonight's Mae Young Classic. Stevens who played Tammé "The Welfare Queen" Dawson in the Netflix original comedy series GLOW is joined by her fellow female cast members. 

The cast appeared during a red carpet event which is airing on WWE's Facebook right now.

In an interview with Ring Rust Radio back in June, Stevens speculated what might have become of her character had she not left WWE due to her pregnancy:

"I can only speculate, but I would think Kharma had a 99.9 percent chance of a title run and then my hope was to bring in a new girl and make a super face who is going to topple Kharma," Kong recalled. "That was my goal and that was something Triple H and I talked about bringing in a girl for a program and making her a super face and us all making money. We never talked about who that would've been, we didn't get that far. I left during my honeymoon with the company."
