WWE Monday Night Raw Live Coverage & Results (09/11/2017)

The show opens with a moment of silence for September 11 and then the crowd begins to chant "USA! USA!" Now we have the Raw opening video.

Here comes "The Big Dog" Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns vs. Jason Jordan

They lock up. Stalemate. Uppercut by Reigns. And another one. Reigns takes early control. Belly-to-Belly from Jordan. Jordan repeatedly throws Reigns into the turnbuckles until he gets hit with a big Clothesline from Reigns. Corner Clotheslines from Reigns. Big Boot by Reigns. Reigns went for the Superman Punch but Jordan countered it into a Crossface but Reigns got to the ropes. Commercial break. Snap Suplex by Reigns but Jordan kicks out. Chinlock by Reigns. Samoan Drop but J.J. kicks out at 2. Another Chinlock by Reigns. T-Bone Suplex by Jordan. Clothesline by Jordan but Reigns kicks out. Dropkick by Jordan but Reigns kicks out. Back Suplex by Jordan but Reigns kicks out. Two Northern Lights Suplexes from Jordan but Reigns kicks out again. Another Crossface from Jordan. Reigns gets to the rope. J.J. went for a corner Spear but Reigns moved and J.J. hit the post. Drive-By from Reigns. Superman Punch. A Spear from Reigns and Roman Reigns gets the three-count. After the match, Roman shakes Jordan's hand and shows him respect.

Backstage, John Cena is asked about the match and he says he wants to say something to Roman's face. Cena is heading out to the arena as they take a commercial break.

Back from break, here comes Cena. Cena and Reigns exchange words like they've done over the past few weeks.

"The Boss" Sasha Banks vs. Emma

Emma gets Sasha in the corner and goes to work on her but Sasha fights back. They trade pin attempts. Emma Clotheslines Sasha and then Nia Jax's music hits. Nia approaches Alexa Bliss at the commentary table as they take a commercial break. Back from the break, Emma has Sasha in a sitting Full Nelson. Double Underhook Suplex from Emma. Jawbreaker by Sasha. Headscissors by Sasha. Corner Splash by Emma but Sasha kicks out. Bank Statement out of nowhere and Emma taps out. Sasha Banks wins by submission.

Back from commercial break, here comes Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and his advocate, Paul Heyman. Heyman calls out Strowman and here comes "The Monster Among Men." They get physical. Lesnar manages to German Suplex Strowman but Strowman completely no-sells it and gets right back up immediately. Lesnar seems stunned by this. Strowman Chokeslams him and then gives Brock a Running Powerslam and Braun Strowman stands tall over Brock Lesnar once again.

Goldust vs. "The Eater of Worlds" Bray Wyatt

Goldust attacks early on. Clothesline by Wyatt. Wyatt misses the Senton Splash and Goldust takes control again. Wyatt fights back and hits the Flying Crossbody and then a Sister Abigail to get the win over Goldust. After the match, Wyatt takes a towel and wipes the facepaint off of Goldust and screams "He's just a man!" Out comes Finn Balor to make the save.

Sheamus & Cesaro vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

Ambrose & Rollins are watching from the commentary table. They get into a fight with Sheamus & Cesaro. Anderson & Gallows get involved as well. All three teams are fighting each other. The match is apparently called off.

Back from the break, Ambrose & Rollins are talking to Kurt Angle. Angle says he'll make an Eight-Man Tag Team Match if they can find two tag team partners.

It's announced that Kurt Angle has signed former NXT Women's Champion Asuka to the Monday Night Raw roster. Then in a backstage segment, Nia and Alexa are talking and Nia tells Alexa that she spoke to Kurt Angle and it will be Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss on next week's Raw.

Back from commercial break, "The Drifter" Elias Samson is prepared to sing a song.

Kalisto vs. "The Drifter" Elias Samson

Kalisto uses his speed to outmaneuver Elias in the opening moments of the match. Elias slams Kalisto on the ring apron. Clothesline by Samson but Kalisto kicks out. Samson starts to work on the arm of Kalisto. Tornado DDT by Kalisto but Elias kicks out. Kalisto went for a Hurricanrana but Elias Powerbombed him hard. He then finishes Kalisto off with the Drift Away.

John Cena vs. "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman

They lock up. Braun overpowers Cena. Strowman knocks Cena down. Corner Splash by Braun. Clothesline by Strowman. Dropkick from Cena has no effect. Dropkick from Strowman followed by another corner Splash. Cena tries to fight back and AA Strowman but he couldn't pull it off. Braun goes for another corner Splash, Cena kicks him in the face, but then Strowman gives him a Fallaway Slam as they take a commercial break. Back from break, they're brawling outside the ring now. Cena rolls back into the ring and Braun follows. Cena goes for the AA again but fails again. Braun goes for a corner Spear but Cena moves. Side Suplex from Cena. Cena goes for the Shuffle but Braun pops up and gives him a Spinebuster. Cena manages to hit the AA on Strowman but Braun rolls out of the ring. Cena tries to charge at Braun outside the ring but Strowman hit him right in the face with the steel ring steps. The referee is not ringing the bell, even though this is a normal match. Strowman gives Cena a Running Powerslam on the steel steps and then the referee finally calls for the bell. They're playing Strowman's music but it seems as though Cena won by disqualification.

The Miz hosts Miz TV with special guest Enzo Amore

Miz and Maryse announce that they are expecting a baby. Miz starts to give a speech but gets interrupted by the music of Enzo Amore. Miz shoots on Enzo for being kicked out of tour buses and the lockerroom and tells Enzo that he's been moved to 205 Live because nobody wants to be around him. Enzo fires back with strong words of his own and calls Miz a "paper champion." It appears as though Enzo and Miz will have a match when they return from commercial break.

Back from break, Miz and Enzo are in a feeling-out process in the opening moments of the match. Miz catches Enzo with a Clothesline outside the ring. Miz gets crotched on the top turnbuckle. Enzo asks Maryse who the father of her baby is and The Miz and The Miztourage dismantle Enzo. Miz finishes him off with a Skull-Crushing Finale.

Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and The Hardy Boyz vs. Sheamus, Cesaro, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

Jeff and Cesaro starting out. In comes Matt now. They double team Cesaro. Uppercut by Cesaro and here comes Sheamus. Matt sends him over the top and Cesaro through the middle. Poetry in Motion by The Hardy Boyz just before the commercial break. Back from break it's Ambrose and Anderson but in comes Gallows. Big kick from L.G. And then another big kick but Dean kicks out. Sheamus and Cesaro double team Ambrose. The heels continue to tag in and out and work over Ambrose. Lunatic Lariat on Gallows. Ambrose finally tags Rollins and Rollins is on fire. Ambrose and Rollins finish off Karl Anderson for the win as The Hardy Boyz keep Sheamus and Cesaro at bay.
