Since Jinder Mahal become WWE Champion, his popularity has increased a lot with the WWE Universe and the wider world of professional wrestling. So, Why did Mahal not walk with the Hindu athlete of UFC Arjan Bhullar?
The Modern Day Maharajá was scheduled to walk with his fellow countryman to the cage before his match with Brazilian Luis Henrique at UFC 215, but the WWE Champion didn't show up.
Equally, Bhullar obtained the victory by split decision. Post match, the Indian wrestler talked to MMA Fighting and explained why Mahal didn't come with him to the Octagon:
"He talk to me on the phone, because he is in the area of hurricane Irma; Lives in Tampa, Florida. He tells me 'Brother, I got four properties here and they have me unable to move. I can not leave them until they are secured", Bhullar said.
Then, he added: "So he decide to stay there. The Maharajá stays in his bunker, but there's no problem, because I worried. I told him that the most important thing is to keep it safe and we can do something in the future".
