A statement put out this evening by GFW has announced Jeff Jarrett is taking an "indefinite leave of absence" as Chief Creative Officer of GFW's Impact Wrestling. The statement is very brief and can be read below:

"Effective immediately, Jeff Jarrett is taking an indefinite leave of absence from his position as Chief Creative Officer to focus on personal matters. Jeff will be available on a consultative basis as needed."

Jarrett only returned to the company back in January when Anthem Sports took over from Dixie Carter.
