Global Force Wrestling has reached an agreement with Pop TV to keep airing Impact Wrestling throughout 2018. Their deal was going to expire at the end of this year.
According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, GFW's deal with Pop will pretty much remain the same, but that also means that they weren't able to get anything better out of it. They will maintain an ad revenue-sharing deal, which means that Pop does not pay GFW and GFW doesn't make much money from it. The majority of GFW's revenue apparently comes from foreign markets, specifically the United Kingdom and India.
GFW will also probably continue to do a bunch of tapings at once, much like they just did here recently.
