40-year-old Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. will be finishing his professional boxing career with a perfect record of 50-0, as he has defeated MMA superstar and current UFC Lightweight Champion "The Notorious" Conor McGregor by TKO in Round 10 of their historic fight.
Mayweather was always heavily favored to win, although McGregor certainly did put up more of a fight than many insiders and experts ever would have predicted.
With this victory, Mayweather has surpassed the legendary 49-0 record of boxing icon Rocco Francis Marchegiano, better known as Rocky Marciano, who held the World Heavyweight Championship of boxing from 1952 to 1956.
