Plans For Bobby Roode On Smackdown, New NXT Call-Ups?

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer that initially plans were to have Bobby Roode take Baron Corbin's place on SmackDown Live. However, now. plans are for Roode to take John Cena's empty slot.

In addition, it was reported prior to SummerSlam that WWE had plans to call up three names from NXT but that didn't happen and only Roode was called up. WWE still reportedly has plans to call at least an additional two but it is unknown who at this stage, according to Bryan Alverez on today's edition of Wrestling Observer Live.
