WWE Want The New Day To Become The Greatest Tag Team In History

The New Day as a tag team is not over yet and if recent rumors are to be believed then they are in line for another huge push, according to Dave Meltzer in the most recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The plan is for New Day is to chase the record for the most WWE Tag Team Championship reigns which is currently held by Edge and Christian and The Hardy Boyz at seven apiece and this was the reason New Day lost the SmackDown Tag Team Titles in such rapid fashion recently in order to give them another reign as soon as possible.

WWE reportedly wants New Day to be able to call themselves the greatest tag team in WWE history and if they’re able to break seven title reigns it might be very easy to make that claim.
