WWE has officially announced that, after undergoing further evaluation after suffering a shoulder injury on last Monday night's edition of Raw, Bayley will be unable to compete at this month's SummerSlam event, where she was scheduled to face Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women's Championship. Further evaluation showed that Bayley suffered a separated shoulder.
It has also been announced that Bayley will appear on tonight's edition of Raw to address the situation, and that General Manager Kurt Angle has ordered two separate Triple Threat Matches to take place on tonight's broadcast, with the winners of those matches facing off next week to determine who will face Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women's Championship at SummerSlam.
