Details on Why Brandi Rhodes Left Global Force Wrestling

It's being reported by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Brandi Rhodes asked for her release from Global Force Wrestling because she got a job with a non-wrestling show based out of Atlanta, Georgia and GFW apparently wanted 10% of her earnings from that job. As was previously reported, GFW has instated some new changes to the contracts of their performers, including getting a percentage of whatever independent bookings their performers take outside of GFW. According to the report about Brandi, this apparently applies to any sort of television outside of GFW, even if it's not wrestling-related.

Brandi will now appear for Ring of Honor and other independent promotions. ROH reportedly had no problem with her doing her television job in Atlanta.
