Update on Rey Mysterio's Negotiations with WWE & GFW

There have been reports floating around recently that former three-time WWE World Champion Rey Mysterio has been in negotiations with WWE about a possible return, as well as negotiations with Global Force Wrestling.

It's now being reported that WWE Chairman & CEO Mr. Vince McMahon has decided that he is no longer interested in bringing Mysterio back to the organization. According to one report, the biggest reason why McMahon is no longer interested is because he doesn't want to deal with Mysterio's representation, which reportedly includes Konnan.

There is said to be serious interest from GFW in bringing Mysterio into the company and they would likely offer him top pay and quite possibly the top spot on the GFW roster. One issue that would have to be worked out is that fact that Mysterio would likely want to maintain total control over his other bookings outside of GFW, and he would also want a relaxed schedule that works for him.
