Chris Jericho Returns on SmackDown Live, Confronts Owens & Styles

During the opening segment of tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown Live, A.J. Styles confronted the new United States Champion Kevin Owens and challenged him to a rematch for the U.S. Title. Owens declined and then Chris Jericho made a surprise return and declared that he wanted a shot at Owens' U.S. Title tonight on SmackDown.

Jericho and Styles then argued about who should get the U.S. Title shot, which resulted in Jericho adding Styles to the List of Jericho.

Soon after, SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon came out and announced a Triple Threat Match for the U.S. Championship tonight on SmackDown Live.
