The Great Khali Appears At WWE Battleground

During Sunday night's SmackDown LIVE-exclusive WWE Battleground event, The Great Khali made a surprise appearance during the WWE Championship Punjabi Prison Match between champion Jinder Mahal and challenger Randy Orton.

Khali interfered in the match and helped Mahal win, preventing Orton from escaping the structure by first shaking it, then grabbing Orton by the throat, which allowed Mahal to escape and retain the championship.

Khali last appeared with WWE back in 2014, when he competed against Rusev on the October 31st edition of SmackDown. His contract would then expire on November 13th.
