WWE Great Balls of Fire Results (7/9)

MAIN SHOW

SINGLES MATCH: Seth Rollin vs. Bray Wyatt

The two tie up and Seth gets the early advanatage with a headlock. Seth lands some kicks and grounds Bray. Bray gets a breath and laughs in the corner. They tie up with Bray backing Rollins into the corner. Seth sneaks out and charges but walks into a spider walk and hesitates. Seth goes on the attack but Bray escapes to the outside. Seth goes for a suicide dive but eats an uppercut. Bray gains control with some strikes but Seth fights back. The two fight on the apron and Bray slams Seth face first into the steps. Bray throws Seth in the ring and locks the head. Seth fights out but only briefly, until Bray lands some strikes and plants seth on the turnbuckle to hit a big superplex.

The two struggle back to their feet and trade blows but Bray gets the better of the exchange. Seth rolls to the apron but Bray follows, hitting a nasty club driving Seth into the mat. Bray locks in the head again but Seth hits a shot to escape. Bray tries to hit a clothesline but Seth manages to dodge. The two fight in a suplex position but Seth fights out, and Seth hots signature offense to gain control of the match, ending with a slingblad and a flipping neckbreaker. Seth goes for the Kingslayer but gets reversed into a huge clothesline. Bray goes for Sister Abigail but Seth reverses into a falcon arrow. Seth goes to the top but is snatched by Bray in hit with a nasty gutbuster. Bray hits the urinagi slam for a near fall, but Seth fights back in desperation with a flurry of punches. Bray escapes to the outside and hits a sneaky eye shot behind the refs back. Bray takes advantage with a Sister Abigail for the win.

WINNER: BRAY WYATT

SINGLES MATCH: Enzo Amore vs. Big Cass

Enzo charges Cass right away but gets clubbed. Enzo continues to fight back but eats a big shoulder tackle. Cass beats Enzo down in the corner before locking in a chin lock. Cass throws Enzo away like a doll and starts slapping him in the face before hitting a fall away slam. He delivers a couple splashes to Enzo but Enzo falls to the ground before he can deliver a thrid. Cass continues to demolish Enzo with clubing blows.

Cass lifts up Enzo over his head and throws him to the outside. The ref starts the count but Enzo makes it at 9. Cass hits a big boot for the pinfall win.

WINNER: BIG CASS

IRON MAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Sheamus and Cesaro vs. The Hardy Boyz

Sheamus and Matt start but Cesaro flies in ton distract. Sheamus hits a surprise brogue kick for a quick pinfall.

SC:1 H:0

Jeff comes in and is doubel teamed, but hits a dropkick to even the odds. Jeff keeps pressure on Cesaro but is lifted over to the corner to allow a tag for Sheamus, who delivers clubbing blows. Jeff fight back and tags Matt who hits an axe handle. Matt clohteslines Sheamus to the outside and smashes his head on the apron. The two re-enter and Matt tries for the twist of Fate but gets block, so he settles for a DDT instead for the nearfall. Jeff tags in and the two hit a double leg drop for a nearfall. Jeff delivers some kicks but Sheamus dumps Jeff to the outside. The ref is distracted allowing Cesaro to hit Jeff from behind. Matt goes for Cesaro but gets pummeled by both Sheamus and Cesaro. Jeff is thrown back in and Cesaro tags in keeping control. Sheamus tags in and hits a flying knee for a nearfall. 

Jeff is still being grounded and islolated. Cesaro and Sheamus trade tags and seemingly play with Jeff, keeping him away from Matt with sheer power. Jeff fights back with elbows but eats a big powerslam. Cesaro tags in and wrenches on Jeff with a submission. Jeff fights out again but Cesaro hits Matt instead. Jeff takes down Cesaro but can't get the tag. Cesaro and Sheamus hit a double team move on Jeff to get the second pin.

SC:2  H:0

Sheamus charges Jeff but eats the post. Jeff gets the tag to Matt and Cesaro tags in. Matt takes control with signature offense. Jeff hits Poetry in Motion on Cesaro after taking care of Sheamus and hits a Twist of Fate to give MAtt the pin

SC:2   H:1

Jeff tags in and hits a verticle face plant before taking a shot, allowing Sheamus to tag in. Jeff kicks Sheamus and pummels him in the corner before hitting a big momentum kick for a nearfall. Matt tags in and they both hit a double verticle suplex for a nearfall broken up by Cesaro. They dump Cesaro and Sheamus over the ropes and Jeff hits Poetry in Motion over the top. Matt goes to the outside and hits Sheamus with punches. Sheamus is thrown in and Matt goes to re-enter but gets smacked into the post to give a count out point to Sheamus and Cesaro.

SC:3   H:1

Cesaro and Sheamus go back to playing with the Hardy Boyz, this time Matt. They trade tags and each pummel him while catching him everytime he tries to escape with really tight headlocks. Sheamus hits a few beat of the Balron before shoving Matt off the apron. Cesaro tags in and slams Matt into the barricade before throwing him back in. Sheamus and Cesaro hit a double verticle suplex and Sheamus cinches in a headlock. Matt reverses and hits a Side Effect for a nearfall. Both struggle to their feet but Cesaro makes the tag, smacking Jeff with a boot before locking in a Sharpshooter. Jeff manages to make it in before Matt taps and breaks the hold. Jeff comes back to the apron but Sheamus pulls him off, smacking his face on the arpon. Cesaro uppercuts Matt in the corners but gets caught by Matt. Jeff tags in while Matt holds him and they deliver a leg drop cradle for the pinfall.

SC:3   H:2

Jeff hits a whisper in the wind on Sheamus but Cesaro comes in to help. They try a double team move on Jeff but Matt makes the save. Matt tags in and hits a tornado DDT for a nearfall. Matt calls for the Twist of Fate but is driven into the turnbuckle. Sheamus goes for a super back suplex but is pushed off. Matt hits a moonsault for a nearfall and then goes to the opposite corner to hit Sheamus with an avalanche Twist of Fate for the pin.

SC:3   H:3

Jeff tags in but Sheamus looks hurt. Jeff clubs Sheamus to ground him for a Swanton Bomb but Cesaro pulls Sheamus to the outside for the save. Jeff instead dives on the outside and throws Sheamus in for a double splash from both Hardy Boyz. Jeff goes for the pin but Cesaro makes the save. Matt tags in and him and Sheamus trade offense before Jeff tags in for a sneak Swanton but didn't notice Cesaro had tagged in. Jeff hits the Swanton but Cesaro sneaks in for the pinfall with 30 seconds left. Matt and Jeff try to get another fall but it's too late.

WINNER: SHEAMUS AND CESARO (4-3)

WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks

The two circle each other with Sasha going for a back tie up. The two trade grapples and whips but ends with Sash hitting a big dropkick, dumping Alexa to the outside. Alexa climbs the apron and shoulder Sasha. She tries to take advantage but gets caught with a kick and tornado arm drag. Sasha keeps her grounded with her arm, and Alexa feigns a broken arm. She sneaks in a huge forearm strike to gain control briefly but Sasha desperately pummels Alexa, cuasing her to retreat. Sasha catches her before she runs away, but Alexa slams her hard onto the apron. 

Alexa is fully in control now, and keeps Sasha grounded with various submission holds including a rough bow and arrow. Sasha fights out with a roll up but gets bent with a nasty back breaker. Alexa goes for a verticle suplex but Sasha fights out with knees and  a verticle of her own into the corner. Alexa whips Sasha to the corner but Alexa eats a pair of knees. She gains control with signature offense and a big knee to finish for a nearfall.

Sasha charges Alexa but takes a couple knee and a Canadian Destroyer for a nearfall. She climbs to the top for the Sparkle Splash but takes Sasha's knees and rolls right into a Bank Statement. Alexa almost taps but manages to make it to the ropes. The two brawl on the outside with Alexa getting the upperhand, throwing Sasha into the ring. She can't make the count for herself though, causing the countout.

WINNER VIA COUNTOUT: SASHA BANKS (BLISS STILL CHAMP)

 Sasha chases Alexa and the two continue their brawl. Sasha delivers a big double knee drop to leave with her head held high.

 IC TITLE MATCH: Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz

Dean goes right for the Miztourage and then chops Miz in the corner. He then goes back to the Miztourage and once again takes down Miz, covering a lot of ground. Miz manages to sneak in a take down and locks in a headlock. He whips Dean but takes a rollup for a near fall. Miz connect a knelt down DDT for his own nearfall and then chokes Dean on the ropes. Miz keeps Dean grounded with stomps but takes another rollup for a nearfall. Miz goes right back on the attack with a corner clothesline. Miz charges Dean but almost runs into the Dirty Deeds, but instead gets taken down with a clothesline. Dean keeps the pressure with more stirkes and clotheslines before planting Miz on the top for an avalnache underhook suplex. Dean goes for a verticle but Miz fights out with a kick.

He plants Dean in the tree of woe and hits some missle dropkick. He goes for another but eats a clothesline from Dean. Dean goes for the Dirty Deeds but gets reversed into the figure four leglock. Dean gets the rope break  but can hardly stand. Miz hits the IT kicks but dodges the final, taking a slap from Dean. Dean takes Miz down and hits the flying elbow crossbody. Maryse climbs the apron to distract the ref allowing the Miztourage to get involved. Dean fights back against them and the Miz, ending with another flying elbow on all of the to the outside. Miz re-enter along with Dean who almost takes the Skull Crushing Finale but manages to hit the Dirty Deeds. Maryse puts Miz's foot on the rope before the three count. Dean dives onto the Miz on the outside and re-enters to be met with Curtis who hits him from behind. The Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale for the win.

WINNER: THE MIZ

AMBULANCE MATCH: Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman

Braun charges Roman early but gets dodged. Braun shoves Roman who tries to fight out, but gets overpowered easily. He takes two huge splashes and a big clubbing blow. He kciks Roman to the outside and goes to run him into the post but gets reversed, taking the pole himself. Braun regroups and lifts Roman, charging hin into the post before throwing him into the steps. He then takes the steps and hits Roman with them several times. 

Braun charges but Roman dodges, causing Braun to run into the post. Roman regroups while Braun re-enters the ring and gains the advantage breiflhy but Braun overpowers him and hits the backwards chokeslam. He then goes for the powerslam but Roman slithered out. Braun charges but eats the corner, giving Roman a chance for some blows. Braun overpowers him yet again and hits the powerslam. He carries Roman to the ambulance but he slides out again and escapes to the ring. This angers Braun who charges Roman in the ring but runs into the turnbuckle before taking a big samoan drop. Roman hits a drive by kick on the apron focusing on the injured arm. Roman then goes at the same arm with a chair. He hits Braun again but Braun absorbed the entire shot. He does it again with the same result. Roman swings once more but Braun catches the chair and rams Roman into the barricade.

Braun throws Roman towards the entrance and clears the announcer's table. He calls for a powerbomb but Roman slips out and connects a few punches. Braun takes Roman by the vest and throws him into the ambulance's side. Braun opens the back door and grabs Roman, dragging him to the back. Roman fights back by slamming Braun's face into the doors. Roman tries to throw Braun in the ambulance but Roman almost gets shoved in himself. He hits Braun with a flurry of Superman punches, casuing Braun to lean inside the ambulance. Braun pulls out a backboard and starts beating Roman with it. Braun throws Roman across the entrance and charges, but Roman dodges. Roman charges but gets lifted into the powerslam position. He goes for it but Roman shoves Braun right through the screen. The two finally make it to their feet and go to the ambulance. Braun leans on the ambulance and Roman goes for the spear, but Braun dodges and Roman dives into the back. Braun quickly shuts the doors to get the win.

WINNER: BRAUN STROWMAN

Roman gets out and beats on Strowman, throwing him in the ambulance and driving it to the back. He then high speed reverses it into a semi, crushing the back. Roman staggers away while Kurt urges people to call 911. People are trying to get the ambulance open while Heath Slater and Curt Hawkins come out for a match

SINGLES MATCH: Curt Hawkins vs. Heath Slater

The two wrestle for about a minute before sirens start to blare. The cameras go to the back to show a fire truck arriving. They use the jaws of life to open up the ambulance while Kurt Angle starts to pray to himself. They finally get it open and Braun is down. They try to get him on the stretcher but he keeps fighting back. He tries to get to his feet but keeps falling over. He finally begins to walk away, telling everyone to leave him alone as the crowd begins to cheer.

UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Samoa Joe vs. Brock Lesnar

Joe hits Lesnar from behind druing the intros and begins to beat him down on the outside. He drives Brock through the table with a urinagi and re-enters the ring, waiting for Lesnar to get to his feet and enter the ring to start the match. He does just that and the bell rings. Joe plants Lesnar with a big enziguri and continues to plant knees into Lesnar. Lesnar responds with knees of his own, and the two trade blows and takedowns. Joe goes for the Kokina Clutch but Lesnar manages to ram Joe into the corner.Lesnar begins the suplex count with the frist german. He goes for another but Joe grabs the ref, allowing him to lowblow Lesnar. He then hits a urinagi for a nearfall. Joe continues to attempt the Kokina Clutch but gets side slammed. Lesnar charges Joe but gets dodged. Joe goes for the clutch but Lesnar slides between his legs and delivers several more german suplexes. Lesnar goes for the F-5 but gets caught in the Kokina Clutch. Lesnar goes to one knee and begins to fade. Out of nowhere LEsnar gets to his feet and hits the F-5 for the win.

WINNER: BROCK LESNAR
