Potential Spoiler For Upcoming WWE Battleground Event

As previously announced, Jinder Mahal will be defending the WWE Championship against Randy Orton in a Punjabi Prison Match at the upcoming SmackDown LIVE-exclusive WWE Battleground event, which will air live on the WWE Network on Sunday, July 23rd.

CagesideSeats.com is reporting that Orton will soon be taking some time off from WWE for approximately a month to film a movie in Hollywood, California, and the report states that this is expected to happen following his match against Mahal at Battleground. This is likely an indication that Mahal will end up retaining the WWE Championship at the event.
