Former TNA Announcer Not Returning For Slammiversary Pay-Per-View

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Mike Tenay was the first choice to call the upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view but he apparently turned down the opportunity, it's unknown why at this stage.

Both Jeremy Borash and Josh Mathews, who work regularly as commentators for Impact, are on the Slammiversary card and as such former ESPN SportsCenter anchor Robert Flores, who is a big wrestling fan, and Don West will call Impact Wrestling's Slammiversary pay-per-view on July 2, 2017.

This will reportedly be a one time deal for Flores and West.
