Mauro Ranallo Returning To WWE

WWE has officially confirmed via WWE.com that Mauro Ranallo will soon be returning to the company as a color commentator. However, instead of calling action for SmackDown LIVE as he did before, Ranallo will be joining the NXT announce team. 

Ranallo further confirmed the news via his official Instagram page:

THE NXT CHAPTER BEGINS! WWE and I mutually agreed to end my responsibilities on SmackDown having nothing to do with rumors about disputes. As I remained under contract with WWE, we discussed a variety of options. Despite originally agreeing to part ways, there was always a desire to continue working together. We have come to terms on a new agreement that benefits both WWE and me, and I am thrilled to announce I will now be part of the NXT broadcasting team.

Triple H has also weighed in on the news via his official Twitter page:

As of right now, it is unknown who will be calling the action in NXT alongside Ranallo.
