On Monday night's edition of WWE Raw, Big Cass was revealed as the individual who has been attacking Enzo Amore backstage over the past month, while his own apparent attacks were revealed to be as fakes by Raw announcer Corey Graves.
At the end of the broadcast, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle called out Big Show and The Revival to the ring, questioning each as to if they attacked Enzo and Cass. Show denied the accusations, even going so far as to state that maybe he didn't belong on Raw anymore if Angle felt that he would do something like that. Angle then further stated that he had cleared The Revival of any suspicion after speaking to WWE referees and Superstars. Before Angle could say that he promised he would find out who was responsible for the attacks, Graves presented security footage showing that Cass, in fact, faked one of his own backstage attacks. Graves also revealed that WWE's medical staff didn't recall treating Cass, despite Cass claiming that they did. Graves then asked Cass if he was the one who attacked Enzo, and Cass responded that he did. Cass told Enzo that Enzo was holding him back from reaching his full potential and becoming a champion in WWE, then said that their partnership was through before kicking Enzo in the head.
