Adam West, the actor best known as the star of the 1960s TV series Batman, has died aged 88.
West died peacefully in Los Angeles after a "short but brave battle" with leukaemia, a family spokesperson said.
West portrayal of Batman was not just limited to the TV series, in fact, he made many appearances in character on different shows including professional wrestling where he came face to face with the legendary Jerry The King Lawler!
A possibly inebriated Batman (Adam West in cowl and sweats) visits the WHBQ studios in Memphis while in town for a boat show or something. He's there to confront the EVIL King of Memphis, Jerry Lawler, who comes out dressed as Superking. Surreal.
