This week's NXT was taped at the yellow brand's home of Full Sail University. The show was headed by play by play man Tom Phillips and Nigel McGuinness & Percy Watson were on color commentary duty.
Heavy Machinery (Tucker Knight & Otis Dozovic) defeated Lars Sullivan and Victor Andrews
The match was focused around the when Sullivan will attack his opponent as he has done so in the past after losing the bout. Lars was impressive with many hard hitting clotheslines and shoulder tackles to Tucker Knight as the two big men impressed in the match. It all went downhill for Andrews and Sullivan when Victor tagged in and was immediately mauled by Heavy Machinery and pinned after receiving The Compactor finishing maneuver. After the match, Lars Sullivan attacked his partner with a slam and a backbreaker submission and left him laying.
Sanity is interviewed in the back after No Way Jose's promo aired. Killian Dain states that "no one is safe"
Roderick Strong Promo
Roddy comes out to a nice pop and he is in street clothes. Strong comes in to the ring and talks about how he's shared a personal side of his life with the audience and that they welcomed him for doing so. Strong says it's no longer Roddy vs The World as he now has a family by his side. He then says that he is focused on becoming NXT Champion. Out comes NXT Champion Bobby Roode who tells Roddy not to play the "Bobby Roode Lottery" because Roddy isn't man enough to win.
Nikki Cross backstage promo is played where Cross says Asuka & Ruby should "play a game". Rematch set for next week's show
Authors of Pain promo hits and it's showcasing potential contenders for their tag team titles.
Peyton Royce w/ Billie Kay defeated Sarah Logan
Match was back and forth as both Royce and Logan both got some good offense in. Peyton hit a beautiful Death Valley Driver in the match along with some solid knees. Royce finished the match with a sharp Perfect Plex for the win.
After a promo looking back at Andrade Almas' loss last week to Cezar Bononi, footage from that night rolls as Almas is walking to his car after last week's show. Almas is confronted by Thea Trinidad who seems displeased with his actions. She slaps him and walks away.
Hideo Itami and Oney Lorcan fight to a no-contest
This match was very physical and both guys laid in some very hard strikes. Lorcan hit a big front senton to the outside from the top rope. Oney and Hideo were slapping fiercely throughout the match including a frenzy by Lorcan that ended in running uppercuts. The match ended abruptly when Itami connected with three straight GTS' and Kassius Ohno came out to make the save. The match was thrown out by the referee.
Drew McIntyre is promoted to be in action next week.

Killian Dain defeated No Way Jose
It's worth noting that Killian Dain has his own version of Sanity's theme played in his entrance tonight. Dain was accompanied to the ring by Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe but once he got to the ring, they turned around and headed to the back. Jose started off the match dancing and doing his mannerisms until the match got serious. Dain cut Jose in half with his running crossbody in the match. Jose hit his TKO signature for a two count on Dain. Ultimately, Killian Dain won the match with his Ulster Plantation finishing maneuver.
