ESPN.com and TMZ.com are both reporting that ex-UFC fighter Paul "War Machine" Koppenhaver has been sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of a multitude of charges involving his ex-girlfriend, adult film actress Christy Mack, as well her friend, Corey Thomas, after finding the two of them in her bedroom.
The charges that Koppenhaver was convicted and found guilty of included the following:
--Sexual assault (against Mack)
--Coercion
--Battery by strangulation (against Mack and Thomas)
--Kidnapping
During Koppenhaver's sentencing, Mack spoke to the court, tearfully stating:
"I do know that when he gets out he will kill me."
Koppenhaver also spoke as well, stating how much he hated himself for beating both Mack and Thomas. He further compared himself to Aaron Hernandez and also told the judge about how he attempted to commit suicide when he was first arrested back in 2014.
Koppenhaver was convicted of the charges by a jury back on March 29th and will be eligible for parole in 26 years, at which time he will be 71 years of age.
