Tommaso Ciampa Suffers Another Injury

PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE NXT Superstar Tommaso Ciampa has suffered another injury, which is said to have taken place during the NXT Tag Team Championship Ladder Match at the recent NXT TakeOver: Chicago event, in which Ciampa teamed with Johnny Gargano to face champions The Authors of Pain.

The report notes that during Thursday's NXT television tapings, Ciampa appeared on crutches and vowed that he would be the most dangerous man in professional wrestling when he's fit to make his return.

The report did not specify the type of injury that Ciampa suffered, but it did state that he would need to undergo surgery. According to the report, he is currently scheduled to head to Birmingham, Alabama for surgery, as well as post-surgery rehabilitation.

Ciampa previously hurt his ankle at an NXT live event in Highland Heights, Kentucky prior to TakeOver: Chicago.
