Johnny Mundo Says WWE & Impact Wrestling Copied Lucha Underground

The Buzzards Wrestling Podcast at SportsKeeda.com recently spoke to former WWE Superstar and current Lucha Underground star Johnny Mundo, formerly known as John Morrison and Johnny Nitro in WWE. When asked about whether he thinks Lucha Underground inspired recent storylines in WWE and Impact Wrestling such as "Total Nonstop Deletion" and the "House of Horrors", Mundo gave the following response:

"Totally agree. I feel like Lucha Underground was the first promotion that's really integrated the gritty, action movie feel with wrestling. Shooting the vignettes that stitch Lucha Underground together, with coverage like a TV show or movie has set that trend.

"You're right. The Total Nonstop Deletion and WWE House of Horrors and even some of the costumes in WWE, I feel the trends were started in Lucha Underground."
