Former WCW United States Champion, ECW World Television Champion, WWE Cruiserweight Champion, and WWE Tag Team Champion Yoshihiro Tajiri has officially parted ways from WWE, as his contract expired this weekend. Tajiri was slated to be a part of WWE's relaunched Cruiserweight Division but suffered an injury back in January. He returned for one night in February but wasn't used again. According to Tajiri, WWE officials told him that because of his age, they didn't want to use him anymore going forward.
Tajiri sent out the following Tweet in Japanese, which Bing translates to "It ended a contract with WWE. Free to move from tomorrow"
WWEとの契約終わった。明日からは自由に動く。
