Chris Jericho was recently featured in an AP News article which heavily discussed his band Fozzy but the interviewer also asked Jericho on when he plans to return to WWE. His response made it seem as if he wasn't too bothered if WWE calls him back or not.Â
Jericho has not appeared on WWE TV since he was written out of storylines when he was attacked by WWE United States Champion Kevin Owens on SmackDown Live earlier this month. Here is what he had to say:
“WWE, it’s the brand name. I’m just a cog,” he said. “An important part of it, people like it. But this is our band. People are here to see us. That to me, is a little more of a rush. It’s not under the auspices of another name. It’ll be a long time before I go back,” he said. “If I ever do go back, if I never go back, it’s fine. If I never wrestle another match, it wouldn’t bother me.”
As previously reported, Jericho is being advertised for WWE Live Events on June 28th in Singapore at Singapore Indoor Stadium, June 30th and July 1st in Tokyo, Japan at the Ryogoku Kokugikan.
