WWE Raw Results (5/22) *LIVE COVERAGE*

Welcome to Monday Night Raw, coming to you from the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI. Stay tuned here and refresh every 5 minutes for all your live coverage needs!

We kick things off with Bray Wyatt making his way to the ring. He tells everyone to stand up and be liberated, and to rejoice for their one true savior: Bray Wyatt. He says that the "beast" is all around us, and is the leash that society wraps around your neck. He says it's the voice that tells you to run instead of fight. He says he is control, and that he will rip open the chest of the beast and eats his black heart. He says at Extreme Rules four men will suffer, and that he alone can protect everyone from the Beast. He mentions Seth Rollins, and says he sacrificed him and Samoa Joe last week. Wyatt says there are no friends, only followers. He says everyone tries to live through Finn Balor as a hero but that he will prove to everyone only he can slay the beast. He finally mentions Roman Reigns, and asks him what one silly little yard means to someone that owns the world. This triggers Roman to come out for a response. 

Reigns and Wyatt stare down each other until Roman tells Bray to challenge him to his face. Bray says nothing has changed, and that he's still led by his temper. Bray says he is the only one who can beat the Beast, but Roman says it's him. Roman then says he wants Bray out of "his yard." Kurt Angle comes out and makes a match for Bray and Roman after the break.

SINGLES MATCH: Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns

Both men go on the offense immediately. Bray attempts a Sister Abigail but spills to the outside. The two brawl on the outside with Wyatt getting the upper hand. Bray throws Roman into the ring and hits him with a big one arm slam before biting the rope and laughing. He whips Roman to the corner hard and goes for a charge but eats a big clothesline. Roman corners Bray hits him with multiple clothesline strikes. Roman goes to charge Bray but takes a big crossbody. Before the match can go any further, Samoa Joe interrupts the match and calls for Bray to get up. He then chokes on Roman but gets slammed into the corner. Bray uses the distraction to attack Roman even though a DQ was forced but Joe goes for Bray. Seth Rollins then makes his way to the ring and battles Joe out of the ring. Bray goes to blindside Rollins but Roman saves him with a Superman Punch.

Seth and Roman are shown backstage arguing until Kurt Angle puts them in a tag match for tonight against Bray Wyatt and Samoa Joe. After they leave Elias Samson drifts in playing his guitar. Kurt Angle says he has his attention now and makes a match for him tonight against Dean Ambrose.

SINGLES MATCH: Akira Tozawa vs. Davari

The two trade blows right off the bat with Akira getting the advantage. He delivers a big kick and sneton for a nearfall before missing a charge in the corner, allowing Davari to hit a huge clothesline for a nearfall. Davari connects a couple big chops and goes for a charge but eats a knee. The two dogdge each others charges but Akira counters last with a huricanrana before heading to the top for a senton, giving Akira the pinfall victory.

WINNER: AKIRA TOZAWA

Sasha is interviewed backstage about Alicia Fox and calls her a hot mess. Her and Noam Dar come in to mock her for being alone.

SINGLES MATCH: Elias Sampson vs. Dean Ambrose

Elias sings a song in the middle of the ring to a chorus of boos until Ambrose interrupts him. The Miz and Maryse are on commentary for the match. The two tie up with Elias locking in a tight headlock. Dean whips Elias but gets caught in the lock. Ambrose elbows out and whips him, conecting a couple of arm drags before locking in an armbar. Sampson wraps Dean up in the ropes grounding him. Dean fights back up and charges but eats a big forearm. Elias beats down Ambrose in the corner and keeps at it on the apron with a big knee to the face as we head to break.

We return with Elias wrenching on Dean with a headlock. Ambrose gets up but is whipped and eats a massive clothesline. Elias wrenches on the arm grounding Ambrose. Ambrose fights out and gains the upper hand with a neckbreaker. Dean continues the beatdown of Elias and ends the combination with an elbow drop crossbody for the top. Elias catches Dean in midair with a nasty knee strike for a nearfall. Dean reverses into his own nearfall. Before both men can continue Miz gets in the ring and attacks Elias in order to give him the win. Dean chases Miz around the ring but gets caught by Elias who hits him with a swinging neckbreaker.

WINNER BY DQ: ELIAS SAMPSON

Big Cass and a few refs are shown attending to Enzo who appears to have been knocked out cold. After the break he's shown conscious and staggering to the trainer's room. Cass tells Angle he better find who did this before he does.

SINGLES MATCH: Finn Balor vs. Karl Anderson

He takes a mic and hypes the crowd up. He says they have a fight at Extreme Rules but that he is focused on his match tonight. All of a sudden Paul Heyman interrupts Balor and introduces himself as usual. He says he's out scouting  for potential victims, going down the entire list of competitors in the Fatal Five Way. He then gets to Finn, and says that he actually isn't a victim. He praises Finn, calling him the most talented in ring competitor in the WWE today. He appreciates that he is willing to take things to the extreme, and that he isn't afraid of Brock Lesnar in the slightest, viewing him the same as the others. He closes by saying that he hopes he wins and wishes him best of luck at Extreme Rules, shaking his hand. Finn thanks him but wishes Lesnar would've come instead. He tells Paul to tell Lesnar that he will win and that he'll win back the title that he never loss. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows make their way to the ring for the match.

We return with the two trading whips with Balor getting the upper hand. Finn stomps Karl hard over and over under the ropes before getting rammed into the corner. Finn fights back but Gallows distracts Finn allowing Karl to take him down. Karl keeps him grounded with strikes and locks, with Gallows getting a cheap shot in. Finn fights out but gets caught in another headlock. Finn tries to fight out again but gets caught with a big back breaker. Finn fights out again but when he is about to get countered he knocks Karl down with a Pele kick. Karl charges Finn in the corner but is dodged, allowing Finn to hit a combination of strikes and corner chops. Karl gets a boot in and goes to the top but catches a kick, dropping him to the outside. He goes to dive but Gallows is in the way. Finn kicks Gallows to the outside allowing Karl to capitilize on the distraction with a big Spinebuster after an attempted Coup de Gra. Karl goes for a powerbomb but is stomped. Karl escapes to the outside but Finn dives on him before getting thrown back in the ring. Finn hits the slingblade and the Coup de Gra for the pinfall victory.

WINNER: FINN BALOR

SINGLES MATCH: Sasha Banks vs. Alicia Fox

The two tie up hard with Sasha throwing Fox and almost putting her in the Bank Statement. ALicia escapes to the outside but eats a baseball slide. Banks tosses Fox in but gets distracted by Noam Dar on the outside, allowing Fox to knock Sasha down and take control of the match. She puts Banks in a headlock but gets reversed. The two trade charges and counters until Sasha plants Fox on the middle turnbuckle for a knee drop, allowing Sasha ot pin Fox for the win.

WINNER: SASHA BANKS

After the match Noam Dar gets in Sasha face, triggering Sasha to smack him. Fox gets angry and beats down Banks, ending with a Scissors Kick.

Kalisto and Apollo Crews are shown arguing. Kalisto asks Apollo what's wrong with him, and wonders if it was him who attacked Enzo. Titus O' Neil comes in and asks Kalisto if he wants to be in the Titus brand. Kalisto refuses, and warns him the Apollo will teach him a lesson tonight.

VIDEO: A video package of Goldust plays, harking back to his older promos. He says he's back in the director's chair now, and that the Golden Age is back.

Alexa is interviewed and asked what she thinks about the Kendo Stick on a Pole Match. She says she doesn't feel bad about what she did with the stick last week, and is excited to get to be able to do it again. She says she wants Bayley's entire body tatooed in welts.

SINGLES MATCH: Kalisto vs. Apollo Crews

Kalisto goes right for the back but gets launched. Kalisto fights back with kicks and quickness, dumping Apollo to the outside with leg scissors. Kalisto goes to dive but Apollo runs back into the ring and catches Kalisto with a dropkick. He then hits a suspended vertical suplex for a nearfall before grounding him with a headlock. Kalisto gets out with a jawbreaker but Kalisto takes down Apollo with a crossbody. Apollo tries to hit Kalisto with a powerbomb but Kalisto sneaks in the Salina del Sol for the win.

WINNER: KALISTO

WINNER PICKS EXTREME RULES STIPULATION: Matt Hardy vs. Sheamus

The two tie up and push each other off a couple times before Matt puts Sheamus in a headlock. Sheamus tries for a whip as well as a throw but is in too tight. Sheamus finally gets a whip in and shoulder blocks Matt. He then hits a big uppercut and connects a headlock takedown. Matt fights out and whips Sheamus for a hip toss but gets stopped. He dodges Sheamus' strike and dumps him over the ropes. Sheamus tries again but is dumped again. The two brawl on the outside with Sheamus getting the upper hand. He then hits a few Beats of the Baulron before blindsiding him with a knee, sending him tumbling to the outside. He throws Matt in the ring and hits a clothesline from the top for a nearfall. Sheamus whips Matt but he catches himself. Matt rolls up Sheamus for a nearfall, and then the two trade strikes. Sheamus whips Matt to the corner and charges but hits the post allowing Matt to take advantage. He goes to the top but Sheamus grabs Matt and hits a rolling samoan drop before we head to break.

We return with Sheamus in control with a headlock. Matt fights back and whips Sheamus, but eats a boot and takes a White Noise for a nearfall. Sheamus plants Matt on the top and Jeff climbs the apron to save him but jumps off. This allows Matt enough time to take advantage and hit a tornado DDT. Matt charges Sheamus and almost takes a slam but slips out before hitting a Side Effect for a nearfall. Matt then tries for the Twist of Fate but is countered into a nasty knee strike for a nearfall. Sheamus goes for a Brogues kick but Matt slides out to dodge. Cesaro goes to attack Matt but Jeff makes the save. Sheamus is distracted by Jeff allowing Matt to hit the Twist of Fate for the pinfall.

WINNER: MATT HARDY

TAG TEAM MATCH: Tony Neese vs. Austin Aries

Aries is distracted by Neville on the outside allowing Neese to sneak in a shot for an early advantage. Aries takes control quickly with strikes of his own ending on a spinning elbow from the top. Neese fights back and charges Neese but takes a drop toe hold into a nasty submission hold. Neese fights out with sheer power and throws Aries off. He the goes for the Last Chancery but Neese escapes to the outside. Aries dives onto Neese and throws him back in. Aries is distracted again allowing Neese to recover and strike Aries when he enters the ring, taking control again. Neese works the right leg of Aries and goes for a back suplex but Aries slides out before the two trade chops. Neese charges Aries in the corner but eats a boot. Aries goes for another spinning elbow but Neese catches him in mid air with an elbow strike. Neese picks up Aries for a vertical suplex but Aries counters it into a guilletine hold. Neese fights out but Aries adjusts into the Last Chancery for the win.

WINNER: AUSTIN ARIES

After the match Neville takes his anger out on Neese and puts him in the Rings of Saturn while making eye contact with Aries on the ramp.

SINGLES MATCH: Alexa Bliss vs. Mickie James

The two trade back tie ups for a good 30 seconds until Alexa grabs the ropes to break it. The two front tie up and Alexa rams Mickie into the corner. Mickie returns the favor with her own charge and grounds Alexa with a couple crossbodies and a neckbreaker. Mickie keeps her grounded with vicious crossfaces and a dropkick to the head. Alexa fights out and charges Mickie but takes a kick. Mickie goes for Alexa but takes a massive right hand. This allows Alexa to easily hit her DDT for the pinfall victory. 

WINNER: ALEXA BLISS

After the match Alexa beats down Mickie James with a kendo stick. Bayley makes the save and manages to get the stick away from Bliss. Alexa escapes before Bayley can connect.

MAIN EVENT TAG TEAM MATCH: Bray Wyatt and Samoa Joe vs. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins

Seth and Bray start with a flurry of strikes. Rollins gets distracted by Joe but quickly rebounds, taking both Joe and Bray to the outside. Seth focuses on Joe but gets blindsided by Bray on the apron as we head to break.

We return with Rollins fighting back from Bray. Seth connects a dropkick and gets the tag to Roman who takes it do Bray with big strikes ending with a samoan drop. He then calls for the superman punch but Bray goes up to his spider walk distracting Roman. Joe uses this for a cheap shot, and beats him down on the outside. Joe then tags Bray so he can go further, and he brings him into the ring for more of a beatdown. He grounds Roman with a chinlock but he manages to fight out. It's short lived when Joe dodges a charge and connects a Pele kick. Bray tags in and charges Roman in the corner, taking him to the ground. Bray wrenches the injured shoulder and keeps Roman grounded. 

Roman fights out but is dumped out of the ring allowing Joe to ram Roman into the barricade. Roman counters and rams Joe instead. Bray tries to pull Roman into the ring but takes a jaw breaker. Bray charges but gets dumped himself. Joe throws Bray back in so he can tag in but Seth tags in first, coming in on fire. Seth overwhelms Joe and Bray and throws them both to the outside for a suicide dive. Seth throws Joe in the ring and goes to the top. Bray grabs Seth and Joe strikes him to set up a double superplex. Rollins rights out and does a double crossbody to both. Seth tries to throw Joe but Bray makes the save. He goes for the Sister Abigail but Roman makes his own save. Joe almost takes a superman punch but Joe dodges, causing Rollins to take it instead. The two fight and get distracted, allowing Bray to pull out Roman and Joe to sneak in a Kokida Clutch for the win.

WINNERS: SAMOA JOE AND BRAY WYATT

Backstage Kurt Angle makes Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Samoa Joe and Seth Rollins vs Roman Reigns for next week.
