Former WWE Tag Team Champions Returning To SmackDown Live This Week

The New Day are scheduled to return to WWE television on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Toledo, OH at the Huntington Center, according to a report from PWInsider.com

The former WWE Tag Team Champions have not been seen on WWE television since they were traded to SmackDown Live during the Superstar Shakeup after Wrestlemania 33.

The reason for their absence was due to the fact Kofi Kingston injured his right ankle so it was decided to take the whole team off television while he recovered. Kingston has recently been cleared by WWE medical personnel to return to action.
