WWE Raw Results (5/15) *LIVE COVERAGE*

Welcome to Monday Night Raw, coming to you from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Finn Balor is set to tangle with a "top star" tonight in addition to a clash between Sheamus and one half of the Raw Tag Team Champs, Jeff Hardy and an IC Title match between Dean Ambrose and the Miz. Stay on top of all the action here by refreshing every 5 minutes for all your live coverage needs!

We kick things off with a recap of the brawl last week between Roman Reigns and Brawn Strowman, resulting in Strowman being out for up to 6 months. After the video package Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring to address the audience. He tells everyone the Strowman will indeed be out for up to 6 months, and that the title picture is now in limbo. Kurt says he's given it a lot of thought but settled on a Fatal 5 Way at Extreme Rules for the #1 Contenders spot. The wrestlers he names are Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Bray Wyatt, and Roman Reigns. He then goes to leave but is interrupted by Reigns who makes his way to the ring.

Roman glares at Kurt for a good 20 seconds before telling him that they don't need a match because the #1 contender is him. He reminds everyone that he beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania and that he is the only one who can beat Lesnar. This prompts Finn Balor to makes his way to the ring and reminds Reigns that he was the first Universal Champion and never lost it. He tells him to get to the back of the line, to which Reigns responds by telling Balor he doesn't have enough killer instinct. Balor then reminds Reigns on his very first night he pinned his shoulder to the mat for the 3 count.

Samoa Joe joins them and tells them both it's only about actions and results, not all the games they're playing. He says his action is entering the Fatal 5 Way and the result is that he wins. Bray Wyatt then shows up in the middle of the ring, and tells everyone he can feel them trembling while singling out Balor. Finally Seth Rollins makes his way down and says that the time for talking is over, singling out Samoa Joe. Joe wastes no time charging Rollins as everyone breaks out into a brawl. When the smoke clears it's Balor who stands tall in the ring after diving onto all the wrestlers on the outside of the ring.

When we return from break Balor, Rollins, and Reigns are arguing before Kurt shows up and makes matches between Rollins and Wyatt, and Reigns and Balor.
