Wayne VanDyke, who is a Florida independent wrestler who worked under the name Richard Delicious, has passed away this morning. He was only 29 years old.
His passing was posted to social media today, and his family confirmed the news on Facebook. He was already in pretty critical condition since he's been suffering from at least three heart attacks since April 29th.
He was working a Ronin Pro Wrestling show in Florida, and was in the ring when he suffered a heart attack during the match. His tag team partner was informed that he had not been feeling very well by him. As soon as he tagged out he suffered a heart attack.
Paramedics did CPR to him and all they could to try and revive him, and rushed him to the hospital. He suffered yet another heart attack in the ambulance going to the hospital and a third heart attack in the hospital itself.
It's not uncommon, but he also had broken ribs from CPR, but when they did so it punctured his lung. He was then put into a medically induced coma to prevent him from having any other heart attacks.
