WWE Confirms Ember Moon Will Not Compete At NXT TakeOver: Chicago

WWE has officially confirmed via WWE.com that Ember Moon will be unable to compete at NXT TakeOver: Chicago on May 20th due to sustaining a shoulder injury on last week's edition of NXT on the WWE Network.

The injury occurred at the conclusion of the Number-One Contender Battle Royal, where NXT Women's Champion Asuka shoved Ember off of the top rope and sent her crashing into the ringside fan barrier. The injury resulted in Ember suffering a shoulder sprain that will now keep her out of action.

Asuka will now defend the title at NXT TakeOver: Chicago against Nikki Cross and Ruby Riot in a Triple Threat Match.
