Jack Swagger Speaks On His WWE Departure

Fomer World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger spoke on his departue from WWE with Main Event Radio. Swagge had been with WWE for a decade. "Iā€™m very fortunate for the career that I had. What it really was is a business decision. I valued myself at a certain price, they valued it at another.ā€

Jack felt that he needed to move forward in his life. He looks at it like starting from scratch all over again. Swagger is grateful for the brand that WWE and himself have created together. He also noted that he is now a family man as he takes care of his family. Swagger wants to go to the independent wrestling scene and believes working in Japan would be a perfect fit for him.

Jack stated that seeing Cody Rhodes and Drew Galloway leave the company made it easier for him as he can do things his way. Rhodes and Galloway have found success all around the world. Galloway most recently returning to the company as a part of it's NXT brand. Cody has found success in just about every promotion in the world.

There was speculation on if the Real American would rejoin legendary manager Dutch Mantell in Impact Wrestling. Swagger is not sure if he will join Impact Wrestling but seems to be interested in what they have done lately. We will see where the All American American will land once his WWE non-compete clause has run out.
