Details Released Regarding Original Draft Of Vince McMahon Biopic

PWInsider.com is reporting that they have obtained some of the details of the script for Pandemonium, the upcoming biopic from Sony and TriStar Pictures focusing on WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon.

The script for the film was originally written in 2015 by Craig A. Williams and has since undergone multiple drafts. As previously reported, McMahon himself, as well as WWE Studios, will have final approval over the script before the film itself is shot. As of right now, there is no set timetable as to when filming is expected to begin.

The current script, however, is said to include "several utter fictions" regarding McMahon's life. These include the following:

--Vince meeting his wife, Linda, in a strip club where she works as a waitress (in reality, Linda had worked as a receptionist in a law firm).

--Vince having the feeling that Hulk Hogan needed to be bigger, so he decided to introduce him to Dr. George Zaharian in order to get Hogan put on steroids.

--Vince telling his father, Vince McMahon, Sr., that he needs to take the "entertainment route" with the WWWF in order to stop having trouble selling tickets because "people don't care about wrestling as a sport."

--Vince attending a Led Zeppelin concert and realizing that wrestling needed to include music, lighting, etc.

--Vince buying out his father's company for a total of $1 million.

--Vince McMahon, Sr. passing away in 1994 during the steroid trial involving Vince (Vince, Sr., in reality, passed away in 1984).

--Shane and Stephanie McMahon get bullied in school due to what Vince is going through with the steroid trial, which results in them beating up the bullies.

--Vince discovering Junkyard Dog while JYD is working construction.

--Vince discovering Rowdy Roddy Piper while Piper is in jail.

--Vince discovering Superfly Jimmy Snuka while Snuka is working as an adult film actor.

--Vince discovering Andre the Giant while Andre was the owner of a French restaurant (in reality, Andre was in the wrestling business prior to joining the WWWF).

--The long-standing (and infamous) rumor involving "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Stephanie McMahon is touched upon, with Vince mentioning how much young women who are the same age as his daughter seem to love Savage. Savage responds by saying that he would never even think of touching Stephanie.

--The script makes no mention of the Attitude Era.
