Tajiri has announced on his Twitter that he will no longer be working with WWE and that he is heading back to Japan. The Japanese Buzzsaw was a member of the 205 Live roster and was also being featured on WWE's RAW Cruiserweight Division.
Tajiri injured his knee in a match in January when working with the NXT Roster. The former WWE Tag Team Champion stated that WWE considered it too risky to clear him to compete at age 46. Tajiri was only able to work one match on 205 Live during his 4 month run with WWE this year.
Tajiri was a familiar returning face in last year's Cruiserweight Classic, got as far as the second round of the tournament before losing to Gran Metalik who was a finalist in the tournament. Tajiri thanked WWE, Triple H and his former tag team partner William Regal for the opportunity to return to the US and work for the company again.
