As noted earlier this week, former tag team champion Crazzy Steve has parted ways with Impact Wrestling. It was confirmed on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE has reached out and made an offer to the former Decay member. Steve gave his notice once receiving the offer and is now likely heading to the NXT roster.
It appears that Impact Wrestling officials were aware of Steve's departure as Decay were used to help elevate the newer tag teams to the recently re-branded company. The Decay gimmick is also being dissolved as Steve's tag team partner Abyss has brought back his Joseph Park gimmick. Rosemary is receiving a big push in Impact's women's division and it appears that she will likely being the top female talent on their roster.
Crazzy Steve was trained by former TNA alumni and current leader of NXT's stable SAnitY Eric Young. Steve was originally a member of the stable The Menagerie, led by former WWE Superstar Mike Knox. Steve found more success once he aligned himself with TNA veteran Abyss and newcomer Rosemary. Steve along with his fellow Decay members were heavily featured in The Hardy's "Tag Team Apocalypto" and starred in "Delete or Decay".
