Update on Eva Marie's Future with WWE

Since being removed from WWE programming last year, there have been numerous rumors about Eva Marie's future with WWE. While she is still being featured on the Total Divas show, she hasn't appeared on WWE programming since the summer of last year. According to a report from PWInsider.com, it doesn't look like she will ever return to WWE before her contract expires this year.

The following comes from PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson:

“It appears that Marie and WWE will be parting ways when her deal expires,” Johnson wrote. “The belief among those we’ve spoken with is that each side is remaining silent as contractually, her time on Total Divas hasn’t run out and she’s still required to promote that series. She has not been at a WWE event since being suspended under the WWE Wellness Policy in August 2016. The two sides could always make amends, but it’s not looking likely.”
