Bobby Roode’s ‘Glorious’ Theme Was Originally Intended For Shinsuke Nakamura

Bobby Roode’s ‘Glorious’ Theme Was Originally Intended For Shinsuke Nakamura

NXT Champion Bobby Roode stated in an interview late last year that his theme "Glorious Domination" was not made specifically for him. He also went on to say that it was originally made for someone else by CFO$. Wrestling Observer Newsletter is now reporting that the superstar that the theme was made for was SmackDown Live superstar Shinsuke Nakamura.

Nakamura stated in an interview with ESPN that he was sent a sample of the theme before his debut and he declined the song. WWE pushed for Shinsuke to use the theme but The King of Strong Style insisted that they listen to more samples until they came to an agreement. The song that was agreed upon was "The Rising Sun" that we all hear now and the crowd loves to sing along with. The song is not only a hit with the crowd and Nakamura but it is the number one song produced by CFO$ on iTunes at the moment.

It's safe to say that it's a good thing that things turned out the way that they did.
